Overview
Through NetBeez Settings, you can control how long NetBeez retains both raw data and averaged data. The Data Retention panel also provides estimations of how much space is needed to store the data for a given period of time.
Raw results - This is the raw data from test results, where each data point is the result of a test. Raw test data is displayed in real-time and historical graphs.
1-min average - This is the average of test results collected in one minute. The 1-min average is used to generate performance alerts and reports.
1-hour average - This is the average of test results collected in one hour. The 1-hour average is used to generate performance alerts and reports.
24-hour average - This is the average of test results collected in twenty-four hours. The 24-hour average is used to generate performance alerts and reports.
Scheduled Test Results - This option allows for selecting the retention period for scheduled test results such as Iperf, network speed, and VoIP.
Alerts - This option allows for selecting the retention period for alerts.
Incidents - This option allows for selecting the retention period for incidents.
Agent Logs - This option allows for selecting the retention period for agent logs.
WiFi Metrics - This option allows for selecting the retention period for WiFi metrics such as link quality, signal strength, bit rate, and channel.
Endpoint Performance Metrics - This option allows for selecting the retention period for endpoint performance metrics such as CPU, RAM, and HDD space.
Unreachable Remote Worker Agents Cleanup - This option allows for automatically deleting remote worker agents if they have not connected to the dashboard for a specific period of time.
Procedure
To manage data retention:
Access the Data Retention tab of Settings.
In the Retention Period column, select how long NetBeez should retain data.
Verify that you have the available storage space and click Save Data Retention Settings.
