Version 5.3 and earlier versions
The License management panel in Settings enables you to view the details of your current license and upload a new license.
To load a new license, click Browse on the Upload File field, locate the license key, and click Upload. The panel will display the details of the most recently uploaded license.
Version 6.0 and later versions
To apply a new license, please copy and paste the license text in the "License Token" field.
Limits
The license page displays limits for:
Number of agents that can be added to the dashboard.
Number of scheduled tests that can be added to each agent.
Number of target tests that can be added to each agent.
Agent Limit
Under the License tab, the number of Network Agents and Remote Worker Agents licensed is listed, as is the total number of agents on the dashboard.
What happens when the agent limit is maxed out:
No new agents can be added to the dashboard until an existing agent is removed.
To add additional agents:
Delete existing agents that are unreachable.
Reach out to sales@netbeez.net to increase the number of licensed agents.
Scheduled Test Limit
Scheduled tests consist of Iperf, Network Speed, and VoIP tests. The scheduled test limit is per agent.
What happens when the scheduled test limit is maxed out for an agent:
While creating a new scheduled test or editing an existing scheduled test, agents that have reached their scheduled test limit will appear grayed out and disabled. The agent in the screenshot below has 3 scheduled tests already assigned and cannot be added to a 4th test.
To add additional scheduled tests:
Remove the agent from scheduled tests that are attached to it.
Reach out to sales@netbeez.net to increase the number of scheduled tests per agent.
Target Test Limit
Target tests are ping, DNS, HTTP, traceroute, and path analysis tests. Each test that is attached to an agent counts towards the target test limit.
What happens when the target test limit is maxed out for an agent:
When an agent reaches the target test limit, this message will appear on the agent details page "Attention! This agent has reached the Target test limit.". After the limit is reached, no additional targets/tests can be added to the agent.
To add additional target tests:
Remove targets/tests from the agent.
