The NetBeez dashboard provides comprehensive historical reporting via the Reports Tab. These reports offer insight into long-term trends and access to past performance data. This post details the legacy reports tab. Documentation for the Reports Beta can be found here.
Types of Reports
The Reports feature offers four types of reports. The types are as follows:
Network Status Report
The Network Status Report provides a high-level overview of network performance during the specified time period, broken down by Agents and Targets. Information for Agents includes availability, average upload, and download speed, and total counts of alerts and warnings over the specified time period. Information for Targets includes average HTTP page load time and total counts of alerts and warnings over the specified time period. Optionally included is a visualization displaying the aggregate alert count over the specified time period.
Once the Network Status Report is generated, you will be able to filter the data by Agent or Target.
Agent Report
The Agent Report provides historical information on one Agent. (Note: When multiple Agents are selected when generating an Agent Report, each Agent will be displayed in its own report.) Information on the Agent is presented in the context of the Targets it monitors.
This report includes a visualization displaying the total alert counts over time, a visualization displaying alerts broken down by Target, visualizations displaying test performance over time, and a table displaying information about all associated Targets.
Once the Agent Report is generated, you can filter the data by Target, tests, test types, alerts, and warnings. Filtering can be achieved by means of the interactive alert scatterplot and checklists.
Target Report
The Target Report provides historical information on one Target (Note: When multiple Targets are selected when generating a Target Report, each Target will be displayed in its own report.) Information on the Target is presented in the context of the Agents that monitor it.
This report includes a visualization displaying the total alert counts over time, a visualization displaying alerts broken down by Agent, visualizations displaying test performance over time, and a table displaying information about all associated Agents.
Once the Target Report is generated, you can filter the data by Agent, tests, test types, alerts, and warnings. Filtering can be achieved by means of the interactive alert scatterplot and checklists.
Scheduled Test Report
The Scheduled Test Report provides historical information on Iperf, Network Speed, and VoIP tests. The report includes visualizations of past test performance of selected Agents and scheduled test types. Once the Scheduled Test Report is generated, you can filter by Agent and by test.
