Set Up ServiceNow
1. Log in to your ServiceNow instance.
2. Click All in the menu bar.
3. Search "Users and Groups" in the search field.
4. Click on Users.
5. Click on the New button.
6. Create a new 'nb_user'. Be sure to check the Internal Integration User checkbox.
7. Click the Submit button.
8. Click the nb_user that was just created.
9. Click Set Password.
10. Generate a new password and copy it to the clipboard.
11. Click Save Password.
12. At this point, the following information is available and will be needed for the NetBeez dashboard:
Server FQDN
User ID - The user that was just created.
Password - The password that was just generated.
Integrate ServiceNow On The NetBeez Dashboard
1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations on the NetBeez dashboard.
2. Toggle the switch to the On position for ServiceNow.
3. Enter the Server FQDN, username, and password.
4. Click the Test button.
5. Verify the test notification is received in ServiceNow and the green checkmark appears on the NetBeez dashboard.
6. If the test notification is successful, click Save.
7. Navigate to Settings > Notifications to select which ServiceNow alerts should be received. View the Notification Settings documentation for more information on notifications.
